Overview

Develop an effective style of conflict management through skillful confrontation and strategic negotiation.

For nurses, potential conflict comes from all sides: managers, nursing colleagues, doctors, and ancillary staff, as well as patients and their families. In other words, conflict is not limited to interactions with colleagues and other medical professionals; it is a regular component of providing patient care. The key challenge you face is making sure you are well equipped with the communication and conflict management skills needed to navigate potential conflicts while effectively caring for your patients.

During this 75-minute on-demand seminar, you will learn how to effectively navigate and negotiate conflict, which can improve your personal and professional life. Presenter Ann O'Sullivan walks you through managing the difficult scenarios you face on a daily basis, and panelist Irma Tyler-Wood shares her advice as a world-renowned expert in conflict negotiation.

Don't miss your chance to build the leadership and communication skills you need to bring up sensitive topics and positively address criticism and feedback.
