Dana Bjarnason, PhD, RN, NE-BC, is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for OHSU Healthcare and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs for OHSU School of Nursing. Dr. Bjarnason received her initial nursing education at the Vancouver General Hospital School of Nursing in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, serving as valedictorian of her graduating class. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, where she graduated with honors, and a Master's Degree in the Medical Humanities from UTMB's Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where she also received her Doctorate Degree in 2007.
