Overview:

No industry has undergone more change than in the healthcare industry and no job is more affected by change than a nurse's. This will only continue in 2017. It’s essential for nurse leaders to help their staff deal with the immense stress and change that their nurses will encounter. Retention rates, patient outcomes, staff health, and engagement – they all suffer when change brings about additional stress. But how do you combat it while working within the framework of the healthcare setting? This workshop will provide leaders with specific strategies on how to do so.

This workshop will also help nurse leaders as they learn these strategies for their own career development, helping them to develop the skills necessary to adapt to change and stress so they become better leaders.
